Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
• Laboratory safety knowledge is required.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Word/Excel and lab software).
• Familiarity with material properties and cutting tools.
• Ability to inspect and compile testing data into a report.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specs and/or SOW to prepare samples and set up testing.
• Perform preparation and testing with limited supervision.
• Operate under guidance of a senior test technician or manager.
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis.
• Perform general duties to fulfill lab requirements and safety procedures.
• Adhere to internal procedures, quality and H&S systems.
