Job summary

Kraft Heinz Fremont Factory is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to master schedules for plant production operations, ensuring requirements align with capacities, equipment, and processes. You will guide a small team across shifts and drive inventory control to support on-time shipping.

You will lead efforts to optimize workflows, participate in KHMS initiatives, and manage budgeting activities while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in warehouse and shipping in manufacturing, with union teams.
  • GMP and safe work practices knowledge, SAP/MRP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in QRMP yearly audit and assist in procedures and corrective actions.
  • Lead QRMP system and standards to achieve targeted RCR.
  • Monitor inventories to improve operation efficiency.
  • Schedule personnel across three shifts; reconcile daily inventory moves.
  • Inspect inbound carriers and ensure proper loading/unloading handling.
  • Conduct monthly physical inventories and approve warehouse invoices.
  • Lead warehouse staff with performance management and training.
  • Partner with leaders on KHMS process improvements and change initiatives.

Job description

Provide master schedules for plant production operations to meet agreed shipping requirements. Work requires basic knowledge of plant capacities, equipment, and processes and understanding of their interaction. Mainly responsible for a small-scale plant or for part of production.

Job Description
  • Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions.
  • Lead the implementation of the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list in order to achieve targeted RCR.
  • Assist in the overall efficiency of the operation of the plant by monitoring inventories.
  • Assist in the efficient scheduling of personnel.
  • Reconcile inventory going to and from production on a daily basis.
  • Inspect inbound carriers to minimize loss of damages.
  • Monitor operations to ensure inventory is properly handled in loading and unloading.
  • Conduct monthly physical inventories.
  • Investigate and approve all invoices for warehouse and production supplies.
  • Optimize the warehouse footprint.
  • Assist with the department budget.
  • Provide leadership to the Warehouse staff including but not limited to performance management, employee development, and training, etc.
  • Partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement through our Kraft Heinz Management Systems (KHMS), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a Management related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in warehouse and shipping functions in a manufacturing environment, managing union team members over three shifts
  • Knowledge of GMP and safe work practices
  • MRP experience preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Certified Train the Trainer for forklift

New Hire Base Salary Range

$68,900.00 - $86,100.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
