Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Lead for finish goods to support internal and external customers. The role oversees Shipping Operators, assigns workloads, and ensures compliant, efficient operations across the warehouse.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management, planning inventories, and upholding safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Strong forklift, AS400, and MS Office skills are required; 4+ years warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Minimum 4 years warehouse experience.
• Warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping for finish goods to internal and external customers.
• Oversee work assignments for Shipping Operators and meet dept. goals.
• Delegate tasks and prioritize based on workload and staffing.
• Ensure safety, quality and housekeeping across the operation.
• Communicate with management and shipping staff on accuracy and procedures.
• Assist with quarterly physical inventories and 6S audits.
