micro1 is engaging Materials Scientists (Nanoparticle Sizing & Lot Release) to contribute specialized expertise to a customer’s project focused on advanced nanomaterial evaluation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity centers on thorough nanoparticle sizing, particle size distribution analysis, and lot release qualifications using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The engagement emphasizes independent expert analysis — including manual image thresholding, calibration, and morphology assessments — without reliance on automated or AI-powered tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to document findings, interpret complex micrographs, and convey critical decisions to project stakeholders.
