Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Materials Science Specialist for AI training on a remote hourly contract. You will work 10–40 hours per week, collaborating with AI researchers to shape how AI reasons about physical world phenomena such as semiconductor design and molecular behavior.

The role requires advanced degrees and strong materials science expertise, with fluency in English and self-directed, asynchronous collaboration. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Materials Science or a closely related field.
• Strong expertise in semiconductor materials or molecular modeling.
• Fluent in English with clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review advanced materials science problems with real-world relevance.
• Apply expertise in semiconductor materials or molecular modeling to design problem sets.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts.
