Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Material Resource Planner to manage direct material flow in the Punch Line cell and ensure materials are available to execute the schedule.

The role emphasizes lean improvement and proper ERP/MES transactions to support short- and some long-term business goals. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing or supply chain, with ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle) and a Lean mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Experience in materials management, production planning or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely creation and release of Production Orders and Purchase Requisitions to support the master schedule.
• Provide material responsibility for assembly, machining, and subcontract processes and control material movements.
• Identify critical material shortages and coordinate corrective actions to meet the plan.
• Monitor plan performance and take proactive actions to mitigate risk and delays.
• Manage inventory to support customer requirements with accuracy and cost control.
• Maintain accurate Bills of Material and Master Data for assigned parts.
• Keep ERP/MES data clean with date management and exception handling.
