• Requires 8+ years in materials engineering, chemistry or related field with hands-on lab experience.
• Knowledge of metals, polymers, ceramics, composites and fluids; understanding failure mechanisms.
• Expertise in corrosion science and coolant chemistry; knowledge of coatings and surface treatments.
• Proficiency with multiple analytical techniques (ICP-OES, HPLC, IC, GC, MS).
• Experience with materials characterization, root-cause investigations and data-driven failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate new materials for hardware applications, focusing on liquid cooling systems and testing.
• Lead material characterization, analysis, and instrumentation guidance.
• Support failure analysis and product qualification activities with data-driven insights.
• Plan and implement capital equipment acquisitions and AI-enabled lab workflows.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating findings to engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
