Job summary

Evotec (US) Inc. is hiring a Materials Process Engineer II in Redmond, WA to support the design, development, and procurement of single-use instrumentation for the manufacturing network.

You will work on validating materials, expanding leachable/extractables programs, and providing technical support for NC and CAPA investigations. You will collaborate with MSAT teams to meet global site objectives, evaluate new materials for autoclaved components, and partner with vendors to develop validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or MS degree required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/life sciences preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements for biologics/pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Experience with single-use disposable manufacturing systems desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and existing technologies to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Create qualification documents based on platform requirements and validation protocols.
• Prepare assessment, test, and technical reports for component feasibility and instrument justification.
• Collaborate with Process Engineers on designing and manufacturing single-use bags and flow paths.
• Support procurement and implementation of approved single-use technologies and qualification activities.
• Lead development of single-use expiry and life-cycle plans and assist with audits.
