Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a results-driven Materials Manager to lead production planning, inventory management, and material flow at our Bellwood facility. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Materials Management experience in manufacturing.
• APICS CPIM certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, production planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and material scheduling to support demand.
• Manage customer releases, EDI schedules, and on-time delivery.
• Develop recovery plans for shortages and disruptions.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and drive inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, logistics, and suppliers.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics to support requirements.
• Support plant shutdowns, inventory builds, and new product launches.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics and drive continuous improvement.
