TE Connectivity is seeking a Materials Planner within the Lickdale Operations Facility. This position, reporting to the Materials Manager, is responsible for the production planning of components and finished goods to support internal and external customer orders. The role will include close co-ordination with process engineering, production management, demand management, purchasing, customer service, shipping, and quality. The Materials Planner will handle the day-to-day activities involved in planning and executing within the SAP manufacturing planning system as well as long-term capacity planning. Successful planning will create the proper inventory investment to achieve the business unit cash-flow expectations and an enhanced customer service experience.
Adjusting production schedules and collaborating with the production team to meet the target and on-time delivery to the customer.
Monitoring the product lifecycle, controlling the inventory, and arranging production schedules based on raw materials availability and assembly line capacity.
Assessing and communicating risks, tracking shipments from the suppliers, and coordinating with logistics, customs, and inspection to ensure on-time delivery.
Planning the raw materials and components requirements based on the sale order, new product sourcing, and supplier development across multiple product lines.
