Job summary

Daubert Chemical Company, located at 4700 S. Central in Forest View, IL, seeks a Procurement Associate to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of raw materials for uninterrupted production in a specialty chemical setting.

This on-site role reports to the Purchasing Director and follows a Monday–Friday schedule. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in purchasing/materials planning, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college business or supply chain coursework beneficial.
• Two years purchasing and materials planning experience required; manufacturing environment preferred; chemicals purchasing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate daily raw material requirements, place orders to ensure production inventory.
• Identify supply risks and communicate with scheduling, production, and management.
• Maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and freight costs within guidelines.
• Enter and track purchase orders; maintain vendor files and quotes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchasing issues; attend daily production meetings.
