Job summary

CAMACO LLC is seeking a Materials Planner to schedule inbound materials, manage MRP data, monitor BOMs and ensure on-time production in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Materials/Purchasing and 5+ years of experience; Plex MRP experience and advanced Excel skills are preferred. This position involves office and plant-floor work in a manufacturing setting in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials/Purchasing or equivalent.
• 5+ years in manufacturing; automotive experience a plus.
• Experience with MRP systems (Plex preferred) and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
• Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
• Day-to-day order management and deliveries.
• Monitor the integrity of BOMs and inventory accuracy.
• Create regular statistical reports and analysis.
• Utilize MRP system and resolve data issues as required.

Job description

PurposePlanning and monitoring the materials and products. Manage the flow of inventory and schedule outbound finished goods to customers. Monitors the performance of vendors to ensure continued quality and timely shipments. Schedules and forecasts the right volumes of materials, goods and products inbound to the business from its supply chain companies. To ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity.
