Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a detail-oriented Planner to join the Supply Chain team in a manufacturing environment. You will coordinate material availability and production planning to meet customer demand while supporting efficiency and financial goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing planning, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and strong Excel skills. You will work across Scheduling, Production, and Lab teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate planning documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years in manufacturing planning.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics).
  • Strong Excel skills and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate communication between Scheduling and internal departments to align production priorities.
  • Confirm material availability and identify shortages or risks.
  • Collaborate with schedulers and suppliers to adjust material deliveries as needed.
  • Communicate priority raw materials, batches, and finished goods requiring testing or release with Laboratory and Compounding teams.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Partner with Client Services to manage date change requests resulting from material shortages or changing customer priorities.
  • Monitor and communicate process order shortages while partnering with Production to resolve issues and support accurate OTIF reporting.
  • Release production process orders as directed by Scheduling and Supply Chain leadership.
  • Prepare production packets and distribute them to Production teams.
  • Clear open order reservations and coordinate material receipts and releases to support timely production order creation.
  • Provide scheduling support and backup coverage as needed.
  • Maintain production planning documentation, S&OP files, SOPs, WIs, and other required documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer, product, financial, and business information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
