Adams Thermal Systems in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Materials Manager to lead material planning, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management for world-class performance. You will drive just-in-time material flow, supplier development, and ERP-driven improvements across the OEM automotive environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (technical preferred) or equivalent experience; strong program management and supplier collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree; technical degree preferred or BBA with tech experience in automotive.
• Experience in OEM automotive manufacturing environment desired.
• Extensive experience with material planning and ERP software.
• Program management skills and experience.
• Experience with supplier development and continuous improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning activities to assure Production of just in time material flow.
• Lead and coordinate Supply Chain activities to sustainable world class performance (On Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, and Inventory Turns).
• Serve as Supplier Development and Relationship Manager, work to implement vendor qualification process and monitoring of new programs and performance metrics.
• May be assigned special projects by the President as work load permits.

Specific Duties

• Lead material planning activities to assure Production of just in time material flow.
• Lead and coordinate Supply Chain activities to sustainable world class performance (On Time Delivery, Supplier Quality, and Inventory Turns).

Required Skills / Experience(s) / Education / Certification

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. Technical degree preferred or BBA with technical work experience within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated experience within the OEM automotive manufacturing environment desired.

• Program management skills and experience.
• Experience with supplier continuous improvement development and implementation programs.
