Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Supply Chain/Inventory Manager to maintain stock levels, plan material requirements, and manage purchase orders to support production and customer commitments.

You will be the ERP system champion, ensure data accuracy in purchasing and receiving, and supervise daily receiving activities and one direct report while driving continuous improvement and supplier performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control and purchasing or procurement.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and ERP software.
  • Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain in-stock inventory levels for raw materials, components, packaging, and operating supplies.
  • Plan material requirements, monitor safety stock, reorder points, and lead times.
  • Create, issue, track, and manage purchase orders through receipt and reconciliation.
  • Ensure materials are available to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Serve as a key user and champion of the ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, receiving, and supplier master data.
  • Manage daily receiving activities and supervise one direct report.
  • Oversee cycle counts, inventory audits, and inventory adjustments.
  • Resolve supplier shipping discrepancies, shortages, and routine quality issues.
  • Develop inventory and purchasing reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in inventory control and ERP utilization.
