Honeywell is seeking a Materials Management Principal to lead strategic inventory control, demand planning, and supplier management across Industrial Automation. You will coordinate with SIOP leaders, mentor planners, and drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives to improve material flow and production readiness.
The role requires strong ERP/SCM tool experience (SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response) and a track record in managing large-scale planning projects with cross-functional teams.
As a Materials Management Principal here at Honeywell, you will lead and optimize the materials management processes to ensure efficient supply chain operations and inventory control within our Industrial Automation business. You will play a critical role in driving cost savings, improving material availability, and supporting production schedules to meet customer demands.
You will report directly to our Sr Director Materials Management and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA or Ciudad Juarez, MX locations on a Hybrid work schedule.
As a planning leader, you will lead the projects implementing planning systems and processes across the business units to ensure these initiatives deliver expected outcomes. You will support the SIOP leaders of several business divisions to execute the vision and goals. Mentor, train, and develop planners to become effective in the improved operating system. Partner with I.T. and the business to lead the resolution of system and process issues. Navigate processes and people through change management to successfully deploy the Honeywell Global Design Model (GDM).
You will provide coaching, guidance, and indirect leadership to the planning community within Industrial Automation to increase their skills and capability in readiness for this transformation initiative. The successful candidate must be capable of performing project management tasks for a large-scale initiative involving the coordination & facilitation of cross-functional meetings and training. Utilizing and deploying Lean Six Sigma techniques, leading continuous improvement activities, and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).
In this role, you will impact the overall operational efficiency of Honeywell's Industrial Automation division by managing material flow, supplier relationships, and inventory strategies that support manufacturing and business objectives.
