Cooley Dickinson Hospital is seeking a materials supervisor to oversee and coordinate materials management activities onsite at 30 Locust Street. You will ensure efficient operations, manage inventory accuracy, and support production planning while leading a team of materials staff.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with procurement to meet production needs and regulatory requirements. Onsite, full-time, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in materials management or inventory control with some supervisory experience (1–2 years preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of materials management professionals with coaching and feedback.
• Oversee inventory levels, tracking, reporting, and accuracy improvement.
• Coordinate receiving and inspection of incoming materials to quality standards.
• Manage storage areas, space utilization, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate movement and distribution of materials to production areas.
• Collaborate with planning and procurement to fulfill material requests.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify training needs and support professional development.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
