Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager, Materials Management (Starlink) to own end-to-end material flow, inventory accuracy, and logistics across the Bastrop Starlink campus. Lead a team of supervisors, analysts, and warehouse associates; deploy equipment and processes to improve velocity and efficiency; drive safety and KPI performance across inbound/outbound operations.

The role requires 2+ years of leadership, a relevant degree or 8+ years of related experience, and experience with ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years in engineering, production, manufacturing, operations, materials management, or supply chain.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/management experience.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with demonstrated results.
• Strong data analytics skills (SQL, Power BI, or similar) for inventory and performance reporting.
• Experience with ERP/WMS implementations or optimizations (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Experience with capital planning, equipment ROI analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own 24/7 materials management operations across Bastrop Starlink campus.
• Manage inbound/outbound truck traffic and material flow to production and supporting teams.
• Deploy new equipment, systems, and processes to improve material velocity and reduce waste.
• Develop and execute materials management strategy with KPIs aligned to ramp and growth.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and optimization opportunities.
• Mentor and develop supervisors, analysts, and warehouse staff across shifts.
• Schedule workforce and approve timecards for 24/7 operations.
