Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee planning, procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to meet production goals. You will supervise production control, inventory, shipping/receiving, and stores, ensuring on-time deliveries with optimal stock levels.

Strong collaboration with purchasing and operations is required. Candidate should have excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office; an MBA is desirable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates ability to plan, organize and execute materials management tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the company.
• MBA holder preferred but not mandatory for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, procurement, storage, control and distribution of materials.
• Direct production control, inventory control, shipping, receiving and materials stores.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Coordinate with purchasing for scheduling deliveries according to operations.
