Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Raw Material Laboratory Engineer to advance material research, testing, and characterization for reliability. You will apply DOE and statistical analysis to evaluate materials and support supplier qualification and product development.

You will work with Engineering, Quality, Process, and Supplier Quality teams, develop test methods, document findings, and ensure data integrity in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or related field and DOE knowledge.
• Strong background in material characterization and lab testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality and Process teams.
• Independent lab testing management with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Apply DOE and engineering methods to evaluate raw materials and aging behavior.
• Conduct material testing and characterization of polymers, metals and coatings.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and provide engineering conclusions.
• Prepare reports and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Develop and validate testing methods and ensure data integrity.
