Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is hiring for a Materials Support role based in our Illinois facility. The position focuses on maintaining accurate inventory levels, labeling and stocking materials, and moving items safely with forklifts.

You will verify packing slips, prepare shipments, and support production and inventory control activities while coordinating with internal teams. A forklift license and basic computer skills are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Forklift operation and certification are required.
Basic computer skills to manage inventory systems.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts is preferred.
Willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Regular, reliable on-site attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory accuracy through identification, labeling, stocking, and recording.
Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the facility.
Verify items against packing slips and process receipts/shipments.
Package materials for delivery to internal or external customers.
Support production and inventory control activities and communication with teams.
Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, and delivery documentation.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory tracking in the system.
