Job summary

CRA is seeking a Material Handler in NORTH VENICE, FL to support all warehouse activities including receiving, organizing, picking, and shipping materials for manufacturing operations.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, comfort with a hot warehouse, and strong familiarity with inventory systems. You will work with multiple departments to ensure accurate records, timely shipments, and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials.
• Review, analyze, modify, and implement efficient department processes and procedures.
• Maintain strict inventory control and accurate records.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
• Enforce safety guidelines and promote a safe workplace.
• Monitor team activities and quality of work; ensure policy compliance.
• Conduct inventory counts and generate reports as needed.
• Handle returns and obsolete parts; communicate with vendors.
• Monitor department budget and expenses within approved limits.
• Maintain knowledge of operating systems relevant to the work area.
• Collaborate with departments to achieve goals and continuous improvement.
