Job summary

Wayne Metals, LLC is seeking a warehouse/stock controller to manage location, storage, and supply of parts and materials used in production. The role involves pulling inventory, staging items, operating forklifts, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas.

You will ensure material availability, handle safety procedures, and support production schedules with timely delivery and communication across the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver27s license and safe driving record.
• Previous stock or inventory experience a plus.
• Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts from inventory and deliver production materials to designated areas to support production schedules.
• Stage materials and tools in accordance with work orders, verifying all listed items.
• Transport tools to and from the tool room as required.
• Build or repair pallets as needed.
• Keep inventory and stock areas clean and organized.
• Maintain stock at work centers and open materials as needed.
• Communicate material needs via radio to team members.
• Perform basic operator-level inspections on material-handling equipment.
