Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is a leader in large gen-set packaging and enclosures with turnkey power packages and full lifecycle management. The Materials Team Member handles loading/unloading, receiving, storing, and moving materials to production areas, and prepares orders for shipment.

The role requires high school education, ability to read and write English, and willingness to operate forklifts; lifting up to 50 lbs and second shift availability are possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Prior material handling experience; sit-down, stand-up reach and turret trucks preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and memos.
• Must write simple correspondence and communicate effectively one-on-one.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Must stand, walk, and use hands regularly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming inventory for quality before storing or rerouting.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to move inventory safely and efficiently.
• Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor.
• Transport materials to shipping bay and load for shipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and organized work areas.
• Perform inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure power vehicles are in proper working order with pre-trip inspections.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
