Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a Material Handler in Holyoke, MA to support receiving, shipping and parts storage operations. You will work from customer orders, assist with cycle counts, and maintain a clean work area in line with safety standards.

The role requires forklift training, strong teamwork, and the ability to follow procedures and quality checks while maintaining production flow and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in order pulling, shipping and receiving is essential.
• Must be self motivated.
• Able to understand and follow procedures for Quality and Operation of the Receiving, Shipping and Parts Storage areas.
• Must be an active team member, capable of communicating and working effectively and harmoniously with peers and supervisors.
• Must be flexible and able to change and adapt working practices as required to suit the changing needs of the business.
• Must be capable of setting up and maintaining simple mechanical equipment in accordance with operating manuals.
• Follow direction / instruction of group leader or supervisor.
• Must be physically fit and capable of handling heavy weights.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified duties involving pulling orders, packing, receiving and shipping products working from customer orders, special production orders, drawings, inventory reports, cycle counting and written or verbal instructions.
• Must have fork truck training and knowledge in Shipping, Receiving and Parts Storage Department.
• Carry out quality control checks and record information per company procedures.
• Take responsibility for output from any process, reporting faults and supporting corrective actions.
• Operate the machines within Receiving, Shipping and Parts areas and assist with maintenance as needed.
• Ensure processes are kept within control parameters and promptly address deviations.
