Job summary

Northstar Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Shipping/Receiving/Materials Handling associate for a full-time, first-shift role. You will pull raw materials from inventory, prepare for production, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate work orders.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma and at least 3 years in manufacturing or warehouse environments, plus solid organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask and learn new software.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years in manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to read work orders and follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw material from inventory for new jobs.
• Communicate material issues to purchasing to avoid production delays.
• Sawing, shearing, and circle shear raw material for production.
• Operate forklift and pallet jacks as required.
• Support production and maintain accurate work orders.
• Coordinate with QC and leads on late projects.
• Report equipment issues to the production manager.
• Keep areas clean and organized; participate in 5S.
• Load/unload trucks with drivers and store materials properly.
