Job summary

DP World's Mesa, AZ team is seeking a Material Handler (L1) to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate movement of parts. This role requires reading orders and following predefined sequences to pick, pack, and ship items, while counting inventory and maintaining accurate records.

Work is in a traditional warehouse setting; overtime and varying shifts may be required to meet production goals. DP World offers market-competitive compensation within a globally integrated supply chain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse and support production goals.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people as a team.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed; may assist with physical counting of inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
