Job summary

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service, the Exchange, seeks a skilled warehouse associate to perform duties across receiving, storage, order selection and shipping at a distribution center in Texas. You will use a VDT/PC to access data and may operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment under licensing rules.

Under general supervision, you will assist in training and developing associates while ensuring accuracy and safety within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Completes high school or equivalent. Education may be substituted with related experience on a 9-month for 9-month basis.
• Six months progressively responsible general experience plus at least six months in receiving, storing or shipping merchandise and processing documents in a mechanized distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled warehousing duties in receiving, storage, order selection or shipping.
• Use a VDT/PC to run computer applications or view data from inquiry screens.
• Operate MHE such as forklifts or pallet jacks (licensing requirements apply).
• Assist in training and development of associates.
