Rochester Regional Health’s Unity Hospital is seeking a Materials Handling Tech I to organize, track and deliver supplies essential to patient care. The role covers evenings and nights, with every-other-weekend shifts, at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities include stocking rooms, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with the Materials Management team to ensure timely delivery of supplies for patient care.

Qualifications

• Complete Materials Management Skills Checklist I required.
• Participated in Hazardous Materials Safety Training and Safety Lifting Program.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communications skills.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office software familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Supply & Distribution. Ensure all necessary forms are completed; ensure all materials are stocked to the appropriate level per exchange cart; report all inventory discrepancies to Buyer/Planner, Supervisors and/or Materials Manager; inventory and maintain medical equipment supply levels.
• Management of Receivables. Ensure materials are kept in their proper location; review package slips and verify incoming materials.
• Messenger Services. Fill miscellaneous orders from departments; transport materials to designated areas with documentation; ensure all incoming materials are signed for by the department.
