Job summary

Danfoss in Shawnee, OK is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility. You will operate manual and mechanized equipment, maintain inventories, and ensure accurate part numbers and quantities in the ERP system.

You will also perform routine maintenance on equipment, support continuous improvement, and uphold 5-S standards while complying with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of verifiable experience as a Materials Handler.
• Must have forklift experience and prior history of operating mechanized material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely perform material handling activities including loading/unloading, stacking, and moving palletized and non-palletized materials using manual or mechanized equipment.
• Move and deliver products to manufacturing, assembly or storage locations, maintain accurate paperwork, and perform data entry into inventory systems (SAP).
• Perform minor and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment; support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Maintain 5-S standards and complete housekeeping duties on each shift.
• Comply with Danfoss Safety Process and ensure personal safety and equipment safety.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor.
