Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Materials Handler in Montgomery, AL to manage material receiving, stocking, and inventory control using powered industrial trucks. You will load/unload trailers, verify quantities, and maintain accurate records while rotating stock and training teammates.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate labeling, cycle counts, and working closely with other departments in a fast-paced warehouse environment. On-site position with regular shifts and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6-12 months of related experience and/or training required.
• 2-5 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials from trailers; verifies accuracy against PO and packing slip.
• Receive material deliveries, verifies items and quantities to PO, and acquires proper paperwork.
• Efficiently moves materials to and from point of use, ensuring product quality is maintained.
• Responsible for accurate takeaways or replacements of racks and totes.
• Ensure product is properly labeled with part number, name, and quantity; rotates stock as needed.
• Receive returned product; verifies warranty status; updates WMS; prepares product for disposal or return to stock.
• Maintain accurate inventory; conducts cycle counts; transfers product in system; investigates and resolves variances.
• Train other employees, maintain a clean and safe workspace, other duties as assigned.
• Operate a company vehicle in accordance with established traffic and transportation procedures and laws.
• Communicate effectively with all departments and supervisors/leads.
