Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support our warehouse operations in Plaquemine, Louisiana. You will move materials, use hand trucks and scanners, and help ensure accurate orders while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

We value dependable team players who can lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long periods, and work a flexible schedule. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents.

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members
