1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC in Ohio seeks a Material Handler to support production and packing lines. You will assemble trays, lids, feed tapers, and pallets for expedited customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality on every shift.

The role requires reading SKU numbers, sorting products by size, and maintaining a steady flow to the shipping line. High school education is optional; strong English reading and communication skills are needed, with reliable attendance a must.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Material s Handlers provide general labor support to production and pack on demand lines or other areas by assembling trays, lids, feed tapers, palletizing and configuring gift orders for expedited processing of customer orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONIBIILITIES:

• Build pallets according to storage specifications ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
• Physically stack and unstack pallets
• Support the shipping line with a constant flow of product or removal
• Read SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare it for loading
• Perform other duties and works in other departments as assigned
• Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
