Job summary

JLL is seeking a Materials Handler to support product teams by receiving, storing, and shipping materials on-site in Beaverton, Oregon. The role involves operating forklifts, reach-trucks, electric pallet jacks, and a box truck, while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and ship materials to support product teams.
• Operate forklifts, reach-trucks, electric pallet jacks and a box truck safely.
• Maintain organized inventory and labeling for all materials.
• Document materials and track units delivered and location of stored items.
• Ensure safety and maintain clean, secure warehouse areas.

NPS Materials Handler

Summary:

Material Handler will provide exceptional service and support to product teams by receiving, storing, and shipping materials. The job will include operating forklifts, reach-trucks, electric pallets jacks, and a box truck.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, staging finished product for final distribution.
• Contributes to the orderly operation of stocking and/or materials and storage area.
• Maintains inventory by identifying and labeling materials prior to moving to racking.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials.
• Locates and packs materials for shipping.
• Documents materials, and records units delivered and location of stored units.
• Receives deliveries and stores in corresponding area.
• Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections inspection.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items or assists operators to move materials onto/off trucks.
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Maintain security of warehouse (Answer door, verify reason for entry, escort customers to specific areas).
