Job summary

AFL manufactures industry-leading fiber optic cable and related products in Duncan, SC. The Shipping & Receiving associate handles material transactions, uses handheld scanners, maintains inventory, and updates data in Oracle and Excel to ensure smooth material flow from Gateway.

Responsibilities include safe transport of high value items, participation in cycle counts, and collaboration across departments to support warehouse and manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1+ years manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required (Propane/electric).
• MS Excel proficiency; Oracle knowledge beneficial.
• Attention to detail and accuracy critical.
• Ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safe handling and transport of high value products using mobile equipment.
• Support of raw material cycle counts.
• Support of raw material supply/demand planning.
• Interact with multiple organizational levels to support warehouse needs.
• Cross-functional tasks to support Gateway, stock, receiving/shipping activities.
