Job summary

Voith US Inc. is seeking a Materials Handler to transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. The role involves receiving, distributing, and storing items in secure areas and maintaining precise records of transactions.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and math skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Candidates must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and adhere to safety requirements in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• Excellent organizational and math skills; strong written communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Receive, distribute, and store products in designated locations.
• Prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped.
• Review shipments for quality and accuracy; check accompanying documents.
• Confirm shipping details and expedite as needed for production schedule.
• Transport materials and finished goods using hand trucks or by hand.
• Resolve issues with contractors or vendors when problems arise.
• Validate and forward invoices to accounting.
• Collect and dispose of scrap materials; maintain a safe, clean area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
