Johnson Controls is seeking a Materials Engineer for the Global Materials Lab in Glendale, WI. The role targets entry-level or early-career candidates, with relocation options available.

You will perform tests, material characterization, and failure analysis to support product development, manufacturing, and quality initiatives. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in a relevant field, hands-on lab experience, and knowledge of metals, polymers, ceramics, and composites.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline; GPA 3.4+

Responsabilidades

• Prepare metallurgical and materials characterization samples.
• Conduct materials testing and analysis using lab equipment.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Analyze data and prepare laboratory reports with conclusions.
• Support engineering, manufacturing, quality, supplier quality, and customer support teams.
• Assist in evaluating new materials, processes, and designs to improve performance.
