Qualifications

• BS in Materials Engineering with a concentration/interest in metallurgy or BS in Metallurgical Engineering.
• 2-5 years of post graduate engineering experience.
• MS in Materials Engineering with a concentration/interest in metallurgy or MS in Metallurgical Engineering (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide Materials Engineering input into Design and Engineering Additive Manufacturing projects, from initial concepts to final design.
• Specification selection and interpretation for materials.
• Providing technical assistance and direction to Operations in processing of materials and fabrication of components.
• Adjudication of material non-conformances and failures.
• Maintain liaison with Government and private laboratories and customers.
