Job summary

HireTalent is seeking a hands-on Materials and Process Engineer to collaborate with the Footwear Innovation team in Portland, OR. The role focuses on transitioning new materials and processes from prototype to production, with extensive work on carbon fiber, fiberglass, and epoxy systems.

You will assist in development, trials, testing, validation, and the creation of documentation and specifications. CAD tools will support product and process development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Collaborate with the Footwear Innovation team to transition from prototype to production.
• Hands-on with composite materials including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and epoxy-based systems.
• Assist in process development, manufacturing trials, testing, and validation activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and process specifications.
• Utilize CAD tools to support product, tooling, and process development activities.
• Partner with global teams and manufacturing stakeholders to drive project execution.
• Contribute to problem-solving, material evaluation, and process optimization in a fast-paced innovation environment.
