This role involves managing client assignments, networking, and business development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct failure analysis investigations
• Plan and execute laboratory tests
• Perform field inspections
• Communicate with clients and provide counsel
• Help prepare critique reports and technical reports
• Develop relationships with colleagues, peers, and clients
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and mediations
• Manage multiple engagements effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion, Electrochemistry, or MS with 5+ years of engineering consulting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of materials characterization techniques such as SEM, EDS, XPS, Auger, SIMS, FTIR, X-ray
• Strong report writing skills and analytical abilities
• Ability to quickly learn and develop creative solutions for complex problems
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Leadership potential and desire to grow within the firm
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
