Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States seeks a motivated student to join our materials science team, assisting with formulation, characterization, and acoustic-property studies.

You will perform experiments, analyze data, program in MATLAB/Python, and help operate lab equipment under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a global healthcare company.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge in chemical formulations, processing and chemistry lab safety.
• Material characterization techniques such as FTIR, DSC, DMA etc.
• MATLAB, LabVIEW, and/or Python programming.
• Operating engineering lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, pulse/function generators, and impedance analyzers.
• Technical writing skills.
• Data analysis.
• Academic majors: Materials Science/Chemistry or related engineering fields of study.

Responsibilities

The base pay range for this position is: $59,100 - $86,680 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
