Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Materials Delivery Worker in Lubbock to ensure equipment and supplies are sorted and delivered to the right recipients across the site. The role requires a valid state driver's license and 2+ years of related work experience, with mornings shifts and possible weekend/holiday work.

You will operate company vehicles safely, adhere to site priorities, and support a healthy, safe working environment. The position offers full-time hours and benefits.

Materials Delivery Worker

Location: LUBBOCK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT - 77043002

Workdays/shifts : Mornings - varying days, and some weekends/holidays. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $17.50 per hour - $17.50 per hour

What You’ll Do: As a Materials Delivery Worker at Sodexo, you are a deliverer and community supporter. You'll make an everyday impact by ensuring that equipment and supplies are sorted and delivered to their intended recipient.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating a company vehicle to deliver and pick up a wide variety of materials such as mail, glassware, dry ice, incoming freight, stationery supplies, chemicals, electronic equipment, and other materials on a daily basis throughout the site and according to priority
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
• 2 or more years of related work experience
• Valid state driver’s license required
• May require commercial license, depending on vehicle type and/or state law.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license
