Franklin Building Supply Co., Inc. is seeking a Non DOT Driver to load, unload, and safely transport building materials to job sites. You will uphold safety standards and deliver top-tier customer service while supporting the crew and foreman.

Responsibilities include operating DOT-regulated trucks, using a forklift, and ensuring accurate placement of materials as per framers’ specifications. Prior experience in driving and construction is preferred, with a strong emphasis on reliability.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Safety-focused with ability to work in inclement weather and lift heavy items.
• Comfortable using a tablet for work tasks and communication.
• Forklift experience is preferred to handle materials efficiently.
• Experience in commercial driving and construction is advantageous.
• Strong customer service orientation and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload building materials safely for job sites.
• Transport materials with DOT-regulated trucks and maintain safety standards.
• Operate a forklift to move materials as needed.
• Place materials at job sites per framers' instructions and workflow.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers and subcontractors.
• Learn about products and processes to support sales and service.
• Support crew and foreman; contribute to teamwork and efficiency.
• Manage product returns for credit and proper records.
