As a Materials Coordinator, you will be a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that all materials, equipment, and tooling are available and accounted for to support our manufacturing operations. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to streamline processes, resolve discrepancies, and maintain the flow of essential components. Position Responsibilities:
Review master schedules and shortage reports to identify
potential issues and notify Operations and Materials Management stakeholders.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Fabrication, and other departments to address parts, equipment, tooling, and production issues.
Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and shortages to
ensure a consistent flow of parts and materials.
Reallocate and adjust systems to ensure compliance with
paperwork for unitized parts.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure the availability of equipment, tooling, and materials for manufacturing needs.
Maintain accountability for capital asset equipment, including tracking property numbers and locations, and manage non-capital equipment.
Coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs for equipment and tooling.
Support the identification and documentation of chronic
shop-related issues to drive continuous process improvement.
Prepare and maintain records, charts, reports, and files to monitor the status of assignments.
Interpret master planning and scheduling to facilitate the flow of parts, tools, materials, and equipment.
Coordinate production information relevant to assignments
between different shops.
Identify errors in planning and provide corrective suggestions to improve processes.
Research catalogs, drawings, and internal records to find
substitutions for required items.
Arrange for local purchases and pick-up of critical items not
available through standard channels to meet production schedules.
Operate typical shop equipment and information systems required to perform assigned tasks.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications :
Basic Computer Experience and Competency
1+ years experience in Warehouse Operations
1+ years experience in supply chain and inventory management
Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years experience in Warehouse Operations
3+ years experience in supply chain and inventory management
Typical Education & Experience:
High school graduate or GED preferred.
