Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Materials Coordinator for the 2nd shift in Delavan, WI. You will help drive material flow, audits, and process improvements while maintaining safety and quality metrics.

The role requires leadership, problem solving, and hands-on use of SAP and ERP systems to support production and continuous improvement efforts. A strong focus on teamwork and efficiency will help us meet ambitious productivity goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or coursework towards Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• ERP system experience (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K).
• Prior leadership/training experience desired.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience valued.
• Certified to operate and train on mobility equipment (Sit Down Forklift, Standup Reach Truck, Tugger).
• Experience creating and using basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Update and track materials and value stream MDI metrics daily across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture.
• Coach team members on standard work, MDI Metrics, and material workflow.
• Become proficient in SAP functions required for materials lead position.
• Support production and material flow to ensure smooth, uninterrupted processes.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture within the team.
• Perform audits on material flow, supermarket accuracy, and pick accuracy.
• Provide training for employees on mobile equipment.
• Set daily work schedules to meet production needs.

We have an opportunity for a Materials Coordinator to join our Delavan, WI team. You will help achieve and maintain materials team goals, including safety observations, reduction of quality errors with audits and implementing resolutions, parts picking for sales order, material market set up, and identifying process improvements to meet productivity goals.

You will:

Key Qualifications:

• - Prior leadership and training experience desired.
• - Demonstrated problem solving and use of initiative to meet a defined target or project goal.
• - Experience of Lean manufacturing methodologies and/or continuous improvement.
• - Certified to operate and train on mobile equipment such as Sit Down Forklift, Standup Reach Truck, and Tugger.
• - Experience creating and utilizing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

Shift/Hours:

• - 2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pmMonday – Friday
• - Occasional mandatory overtimerequired

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $23.00- $26.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
