Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc., a JSR Life Sciences company, is seeking a warehouse specialist to manage flow of GMP and non-GMP materials essential for manufacturing. Responsibilities include inbound receiving, kitting, and accurate entry into the inventory system, while maintaining safety and compliance with GMP standards.

The role requires high school diploma and warehouse experience, with knowledge of hazardous materials handling and DOT rules.

Qualifications

• High school degree with experience in warehouse shipping, receiving and computerized inventory control.
• Knowledge of warehousing including receiving, housekeeping, inventory control, tagging of capital items, location management, shipping, and carriers.
• Knowledge of chemicals, MSDS sheets, and DOT requirements for hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound product, paperwork, and material for GMP and Non-GMP areas per SOPs and GMP documentation.
• Verify, pick-up, and kitting of materials from the warehouse for manufacturing operations.
• Count and safeguard all material entering the warehouse and enter receipts to the inventory system.
• Complete paperwork for tasks, cleaning procedures, GMP, and lab safety procedures.
• Adhere to safety and PPE requirements to prevent injuries.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by leadership.

Job description

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for managing flow of supplies/materials and inventories for GMP material, general stockables and non-GMP stock items required to support manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and process inbound product, paperwork, and material for GMP and Non-GMP areas per appropriate SOPs and GMP documentation.
• Responsible for verification, pick-up, and kitting of requested materials from the warehouse for manufacturing operations
• Count and safeguard all material entering the warehouse, prepare necessary documentation, and enter all receipts to the computerized inventory system; immediately identify and report all inbound damaged goods with a copy of the bill of lading or other documentation to the applicable buyer.
• Responsible for completing paperwork for each task, cleaning procedures, aseptic processing techniques, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory safety practices and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to safety and compliance requirements as related to personal protection requirements and safeguard against injury to him/herself and all adjacent personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school degree with experience in warehouse shipping, receiving and computerized inventory control. Knowledgeable in multiple facets of warehousing including: receiving, housekeeping, and computerized inventory control.
• Should be knowledgeable in all facets of warehousing, including receiving, housekeeping, computerized inventory control, tagging of capital items, location management, shipping, LTL trucking, FedEx/Airborne and UPS service, problem resolution, purchasing interface, and packaging.
• Should possess knowledge of chemicals, use of MSDS sheets in a high volume manufacturing operation and DOT requirements regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.

Language Ability

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Physical Demands

Frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Salary Range:

$21.64 - $30.15/hr

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
