Job summary

R2C, Inc. is seeking personnel for a material control role under an SCA contract at Randolph Air Force Base.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspection, data entry, cycle counting, and maintaining inventory locations within a well-lit shop environment. The candidate must have experience in material control, be able to obtain a secret clearance, possess a high school diploma, and demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience within the material control field.
• Must have or be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of Material Control practices and internal control objectives.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to enter data through a PC into a materials control system.

Responsibilities

• Supports the annual and long-term goals; outlined in the client strategic and detail plans.
• Assists with the creation of a highly collaborative material control culture within the organization.
• Verify materials received were ordered; match to purchase order; verify quantity delivered and inspect for damage.
• Resolve receipt issues with suppliers and coordinate correct shipments.
• Sign and date delivery tickets; ensure accurate receipt entry and correct UOM.
• Perform cycle counts and notify supervision of discrepancies.
• Ensure items are placed in correct locations and inform relevant personnel.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and safe; manage waste disposal as required.
• Prepare shipping memos for material, equipment, scrap, and returns.
