Job summary

Lear Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Materials Clerk to assist in shipping/receiving within the Materials Department at the Hebron plant.

You will identify, label, move and stage containers and raw materials while supporting production through cycle-delivery, forklift assistance, and accurate inventory tasks.

A high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license are required, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers.
• Utilize handheld computer to create product labels.
• Store containers, both full and empty in designated areas.
• Verify scrap counts against reports and dispose of scrap material.
• Support packing operation using a fork lift (removing full containers and replacing with empty containers).
• Support production line by delivering boxes of components on cycle-delivery schedule.
• Basic housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventory process.
• Other duties as assigned.
