Job summary

Ppswork is seeking a Materials Clerk to support shipping and warehouse operations. You will pull orders from the shop floor, prepare and stage finished product, and load/unload trucks on a 4-day workweek, 1st shift. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour with strong benefits.

The role requires experience with MS Office and ERP systems, inventory control, and the ability to operate a tow motor or forklift. Physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs is needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Office and an ERP System.
• Experience with Inventory Management.
• Have a Mechanical aptitude with good problem-solving skills.
• Can operate a Tow Motor, Forklift and Pallet Jack.
• Have experience safety operating commercial grade wood cutting equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Distribute product by pulling orders from the shop floor and preparing finished product.
• Stage finished product and load/unload trucks.

MATERIALS CLERK

You will be responsible for the distribution of product by pulling orders from the shop floor; preparing and staging finished product, and loading/unloading trucks.

DESCRIPTION

• Package all product in crates to ensure safe transport to customer.
• Performs warehouse control, inventory control and related duties.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Can use saws and hand tools to cut, assemble crates.
• Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.
• Tow Motor / Forklift Experience.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Applies shipping documentation and labeling to outgoing packages.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs. plus stand for extended periods.
