Job summary

Automation Personnel Services seeks a Materials and Purchasing Manager for a facility in Elkmont, AL. You will ensure uninterrupted material flow for manufacturing operations while optimizing inventory levels, supplier performance and procurement costs.

Responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, negotiating supplier contracts, managing MRP/ERP processes and conducting cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. The role offers a direct hire arrangement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to supply chain, business, operations, or engineering.
• 5+ years of purchasing, materials management, or supply chain leadership experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience required.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis, including Power BI.

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Materials and Purchasing Manager for a company based in Elkmont, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material flow to support manufacturing operations while optimizing inventory levels, supplier performance and procurement costs.

Pay Rate

$115,000 annually

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday,7 3 0 am to 4 00 pm.
